We recently stayed at the Hi Lake Louise Alpine Centre and had a great experience. The location was perfect for hiking to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, both within a short distance from the hostel. Our room was in the second building and had a loft, which made it feel more private. The electronic keys made access easy, although we had to remember to take it when going to the restroom at night. The kitchen facilities were neat and clean, and they provided plastic bins for storing food in the fridge. The common area in the main building was cozy and inviting, with a beautiful fireplace. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay even more enjoyable. we had a wonderful time at the Hi Lake Louise Alpine Centre and would definitely recommend it to others.

the hostel had a cozy and comfortable aesthetic, and the rooms were homey and inviting. I stayed in a 2, bunk all female dorm, which had plenty of hangers and spacious cubbies for storage. the heat could be easily adjusted, and the private bathroom was a great convenience. the shared showers were clean with hot water, and the kitchen was spacious and well, equipped with multiple stoves, microwaves, and tea kettles. the common space was cozy and there were even activities and a sign, up list for finding hiking buddies, which was perfect for solo travelers like me. I was quite impressed with this hostel and would definitely consider staying at other Hostel International locations. Cons: Nothing, all great! 👌.

My friends and I were there for several days to photograph Banff National Park. The hostel was clean and well-maintained. The showers had hot water and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. Linda Dip, the general manager, was exceptional and made sure all guests felt welcomed. She addressed any concerns we had and ensured the hostel provided the best value and customer service. I highly recommend this hostel to all our photographer friends!
I can recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was great, just a short distance from the town center and several hiking trails. It was convenient to explore the area. the staff were also very helpful and friendly when we had an issue. Their assistance was much appreciated.
The atmosphere at the hostel was lacking. I was hoping to meet interesting people and make new friends, but everyone seemed to be keeping to themselves.

The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the famous Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. No need to take a shuttle! the hostel also had a kitchen that was very clean and well-equipped, making it convenient for self-catering. the walk behind the hostel leading to Samson Mall and Bow River provided breathtaking views.
the mattress in my room was quite thin and uncomfortable. It was a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep after a tiring day of exploring.

The hostel had a great common area and fully equipped kitchen, which was really convenient. the room I stayed in had a double ceiling and an amazing view of the nearby pines, providing a peaceful atmosphere after a long day of hiking. the location of the hostel was also fantastic, situated right in the heart of the village.
My sleep was disturbed by noisy neighbors who arrived late at night and continued to make a lot of noise well past midnight. It would be helpful if the hostel could inform international guests about quiet times and remind them to be considerate of others.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The surroundings were cozy and inviting, even though it was a bit chilly during my visit. The kitchen had everything I needed, from utensils to a stove and fridge. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town center, where you can find the visitor center, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The shared bathroom, which I had to myself most of the time, was right outside my room and was clean and well-maintained. The shower had hot water and good water pressure, making for a refreshing experience. The onsite restaurant served delicious breakfast, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. this is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at, with a great location and ample parking.
Nothing bad to say.

During our romantic escape, we found two key facts that we loved about this accommodation. the shared kitchen and dining area was a great amenity. It allowed us to prepare our own meals and enjoy them together in a cozy setting. Secondly, the restaurant attached to the hostel was excellent, offering delicious meals and a delightful dining experience. Additionally, the location of the accommodation was perfect for our getaway, providing easy access to the attractions and activities we wanted to explore.
There were a couple of aspects that we didn't fully enjoy. The bed in our room could have been softer, as it was a bit uncomfortable for us.
